DOG TRAINING AND BEHAVIOUR

I'm based in Ely, Cambridgeshire but I work within a 30 mile radius.

Over the years I have worked with a lot of different dog breeds and their owners.

I'm a firm believer in 'start as you mean to go on', I feel setting up a good foundation in terms of basic obedience and socialisation, with your young puppy, will set you on a positive dog ownership journey towards a harmonious life with a well behaved dog.

I have learnt they many issues experienced by dog owners can be prevented by correctly choosing the type or breed of dog, that matches your lifestyle, character and the needs of your family.

Having been involved in showing and breeding dogs, I have been fortunate enough to meet a lot of breeds as well as having first hand experience how important it is to match a puppies personality to your family.

I want to help families pick the right breed and the right puppy for them to set you and your new puppy up for success from the start.

I wanted to bring something new to the puppy classes scene, therefore I offer two different types of puppy classes; basic obedience classes and socialisation classes, but with a slight twist.

I believe to set you up for a lifetime of success, it isn't enough for me to help you teach your puppy to sit or how to walk to heel. I aim to provide you with an understanding on how your puppy sees the world, how it learns and how best to communicate with your dog while forming a positive relationship. I give you the tools and teach you how to use them, so you can confidently make your puppy into your perfect dog.

Every puppy owner has heard the term 'socialisation', but what does that even mean? In my socialisation classes, we aim to give the puppies the best start to their life in the human world. We will form positive associations with as many scenarios, sights, sounds and smells as possible, to truly set your puppy up for success and ensure they're relaxed and confident, whatever they may be faced with. Since we're in a rural area, we will also cover introductions to livestock and making sure you and your puppy are the perfect countryside citizens.
